What does heat alarm measure?
The heat alarm is mainly used to detect the heat in the house, it does not detect gas or particles. When it detects a large increase in the surrounding temperature, it indicates a possible fire. Once this happens, it will beep at 85 decibels to remind people to evacuate and reduce people's property damage.
Why we need to install heat alarm?
Under Scottish law, every household is required to install a heat alarm in the kitchen. The kitchen and the fireplace are the main places where heat is generated in the home, especially the kitchen. People use the kitchen almost every day, and the fireplace is only used in winter. Therefore, it is very necessary to install a heat alarm in the kitchen to monitor temperature changes.
